I was sitting with my laptop and then the news begun… all was disgrace and tragedy, so I think in one thing: ‘TUMBLR’ and imagined this picture and I did it. with a few knowledges about photoshop. I hope you like it.

Petit: my mother told me this, long long ago ~ that the difference between “liking” and “loving” someone, anything actually, is in saying “I like you because …” and “I love you although …”

and am excessively pleased and truly honored … and more than a bit surprised … that what I post here is being enjoyed by such a wonderful group of people.
Today, however, this Tumblr blog hit a milestone that I find even more remarkable: my Tumblr blog has been visited by individuals from one hundred separate countries.
I’m sitting here thinking about that: 100! Curious, thoughtful, young, old, every color, every denomination, man, woman … 100 countries!
Our tastes may vary, our philosophies are individual … but one truth remains: we are united through Love and Art. Humor helps, too, but it is Art reflecting in our eyes and hearts which unifies our world.
To every artist, artisan, photographer, craftsperson, writer, thinker whose creations I have had the honor of blogging on these pages: my most humble thank you. Your passion and creativity make my world brighter and more beautiful.

لا تقلقي يا حلوة الحلوات
ما دمت في شعري وفي كلماتي
قد تكبرين مع السنين . . وإنما
لن تكبري أبدا . . على صفحات
Do not worry, beautiful one,
You are in my poetry and in my words.
You will grow old with the years, but
You will always be young in my pages."
